Accessibility statement

SneakerHouse considers it of supreme importance to provide accessible and equal service to all customers, including people with disabilities. We have made and continue to make many efforts to make our website as accessible to the public as possible, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013 and Israeli Standard 5568.

Accessibility components on the site

The accessibility button appears at the bottom-right corner of every page and contains the following tools:

• Text enlargement — 4 size levels (normal / large / larger / huge)
• High contrast — black and white mode with clear borders, without background images
• Link highlighting — all links displayed with underline, yellow background, and emphasis
• Stop animations — for all users sensitive to motion
• Large cursor — for those with motor or visual disabilities
• Reset settings — return to the default state with one click

Preferences are saved in the browser and will apply automatically on every future visit.

Technical accessibility

• Full compatibility with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
• Full keyboard navigation without need for a mouse
• Highlighted Focus marking for every interactive element
• ARIA tagging on all dynamic components (modals, menus, forms)
• Alternative text (alt) for all images
• Descriptive labels for all form fields
• Hierarchical heading structure (H1, H2, H3)
• Color contrast that meets WCAG AA requirements (ratio of at least 4.5:1)
• Full support for RTL (Hebrew right-to-left) and LTR (English left-to-right) directions

Parts of the site that are not fully accessible

Despite our efforts, there may be pages or components whose accessibility has not yet been fully completed. The main reasons:

• Third-party content (embedded video, maps) — in the process of adaptation
• Product images uploaded by the admin without alternative text — fixed on an ongoing basis

We work continuously to fix and improve accessibility on the site.
